I created The Media Day Experience in 2020 when I stumbled upon photos of the NBA Media Day and thought, if those stars can have that experience, then the stars in our city deserved it too! What began as a way to elevate how local athletes were photographed has grown into an experience serving programs throughout San Diego and beyond.
They train so hard. They give so much to their sport. This day was created to give them a moment to be celebrated, to come together as a team, and to be represented in the spotlight with the same level of excellence they bring to the game.
And for me, it has never been only about the photos. It’s the conversation, the energy, the environment, and that moment when an athlete feels truly seen. The images matter, but so does what happens while we’re creating them.
